Recording Academy awards music legend George Clinton this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award. 1500 Sound Academy hosts an exclusive Q&A with the legend himself. USC Professor and noted music director Jae Deal will moderate and direct questions from the audience. About George Clinton:
George Clinton needs no introduction. Founder of Parliment/Funkadelic and one of the originators of the funk movement at large, George has been breaking ground on new music since the 1960's. He is a pioneer of culture and technology; his influence can be felt in all modern music genres. George Clinton was inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame in 1997 and will be given a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award this year.
